Easter Day

We had a great Easter, though a little on the chilly side weather wise. Girls had to wear little white sweaters over their easter dresses. After church, we went to Papaw's & Mamaw's, ate a great feast with them and the Smith family, then went to Aunt Rhonda's to see them and eat crawfish, yummy. Of course they got about 3 easter baskets each today FULL of things...Sadie was running a fever today but she seems to be feeling a little better, hope she's not getting sick again. Over all we had a nice day full of family time and great food!!!

Easter and Dance pics 2008

Here are the Easter pictures and Alandra's Dance pictures. You will all be getting copies in the mail and/or when we see you. My precious babies!

Hot Weiner!

Alandra's Book Fair is at her school, and she was pointing to a book in the add that had a picture of a Hot Dog weenie at a camp fire and this is what she is asking me, it was hilarious, but the video was so dark you can hardly see her at the end but you can hear her. It was really funny the 1st time she was saying it before I got the camera....

Easter egg hunt @ Alandra's classmates house

The girls had fun, Sadie liked playing w/ the eggs and was even more excited to learn they had candy in them.

The Classic Iron & Steel Video of Alandra age 2

This is one of my favorites and I sent it to America's Funniest Home Videos last night, (along w/ others) so who knows, may win us some money. In the video Alandra at age 2 is saying "This one's iron and this one's steel, if this one don't get cha, this one will." So cute!

Girls in park tunnel

Jerremy took this funny pic of the girls in the tunnel thing at the park...funny!

Playing at the park

Sadie likes to stick her tongue out alot lately, hee hee

Sadie sliding part II

Her hair was standing straight up...lol...

Sadie on the slide at park

She liked sliding and was in a daze for a minute with a big smile on her face. See how her hair is standing straight up and she starts doing her head back and forth acting silly to get a laugh.

Jerremy saves Sadie from a mudbath...lol...well almost

While swinging Alandra, Jerremy flew to catch Sadie from going into the puddle of mud...I didn't know if I had caught it on the video, while taping, but I did...he flew into action, go super Dad! That's why the next videos, she sporting the boots w/ capris...ha ha

Sadie showing off her latest dance moves

My sweet Sadie LOVES to dance to anykind of music, this is so cute and funny, my girls keep me laughing. Sadie will even stop and dance when there is no music, it's so cute! If my cell phone rings or a commercial comes on tv, she dances....and she's always dancing and sometimes singing in the car...ha ha I love it! She's got rhythm too (she got it from her momma..lol...)

Kids say the funniest things...

I had recorded a few things in a journal that I'm going to transfer to the blog like Alandra's 1st day of pre-k., on the way there she asked if they were going to drag her out of the car? Jerremy said only if you put up a fight, ha ha!

When we picked her up, she said she cried for me, so much so that her eyes were bleeding, awh!
She said she liked it, but the teacher will not let them play in the dirt, ha ha, that's my Alandra!

One day while Alandra was playing "Prince & Princess" w/ Jerremy, I asked what is your name, she said Alandra, i asked "Where are you from?" She anwsered "Daddy & Grandma" HA HA

One night while putting her to bed on a school night, she asked "how much longer do I have to go to school?" I said at least 13 years, probably more, she said "OH MAN" : )

This past September while at the beach on vacation, Alandra said that someone had put salt all in the water....ha ha.....it's really crazy, cause I had said the exact same thing at her age my 1st trip to the ocean!! Funny!

Sadie w/ Boo & Buford, saying their names

It kinda sounds like she's saying "Boudan" or "Buford", she loves them!

Sadie is saying and doing funny things everyday, she's quite a comedian, or so she thinks, she's really enjoying knowing she's making you laugh....

Since we made the visit to the zoo, she goes around saying oo, oo, ah, ah...like a monkey.

She pokes my eye while saying "eye" and pushed my nose down while going honk, honk... : )

She sings and dances all the time, she's either bouncing up and down or head banging to the beat.

She loves to play peek-a-boo around the couch arms and have Alandra chase her thru the house.

While eating the other day, peaches, she said "Hmmm good, real good" lol, it's always something new with a 13month old.

She can pretty much say "Boudan" too (our 12 yr old pit bulls name), I've attched a video and u can here her saying Boudan. Buford our schnauzer is her pull toy, she pulls him by the ears, tail, and anything else she can get a good grip on. Both dogs just love her too even though she pulls on them, sits on them, cause she also LOVES to share her food with them. : )

Alandra's visit with her Mimi

This is from my Mom (Mimi)...Alandra went to stay the night @ her house and said some cute things ...

Janci,

There are 3 things that I want you to write in your memories book.

When we were getting the pics the other day......Alandra was on the floor and we had just taken the good close up of her face..the photographer was telling her one thing, you were telling her something and I was telling her something else......she collapsed on the floor from sheer confusion....Bronson pipes out loud and clear, "We didn't tell you to play DEAD!!" Too funny. (did you tell Shannon that one?)

Alandra and I were on the way to BR to spend the night. She was watching the dark clouds moving swiftly with very small breaks in the clouds that showed blue sky above....after looking so intently into the sky, she said in a clear small voice, "Mimi, I think God is playing peek-a-boo with me through those clouds!" Priceless.......out of the mouths of babes!!!

Sunday morning, I am giving her good morning kisses and rubs to wake Alandra. She seems fine, then gets a sad look on her face and says, "Mimi?" I asked what she wanted and she said, "never mind". I asked "What is wrong?", she said "nothing". I then asked if she had a bad dream, she nodded that she did, but does not want to tell me about it...Then her eyes brighten and small smile comes to her lips and she said that it was ok because she "Hummed it away". I said what do you mean, you hummed the nightmare away?....she said that was what she did, so she could go back to sleep. I think that is about the sweetest thing anyone could ever say......much less a child of 4 years.. I gave her a big hug and told her that was the best idea that I had ever heard and that I would try that next time I had a nightmare....

To see simple things through the eyes of a child is such a blessing...Thank you Lord, for the sweet innocence of children's minds.
I love my grandbabies to pieces!!!!!!!
